Guys, I cannot stress enough how important foam rolling is before and after workouts. It is much more effective and safer than static stretching. Static stretching puts a lot of stress on the muscle, and can only target certain parts of it. Foam rolling hurts like hell but is AMAZING for relaxing and lengthening each individual muscle strand. You can really pinpoint sore spots and it will help a TON!
Man I’ve done these … FREAKEN painful initially…. ( for a few minutes) but man alive makes an amazing difference! I’m going to buy some for my home gym.
